Are you talking about the raymour and flannigan one? if you are its really a traditional style-a beautiful table but not modern-take a look at the lincoln its more modern and will really show off the new carpet After speaking with you more indepth(and you explaining your style is transitional and not modern) and seeing the space I do think the table would look great
